National Day of Silence Against LGBT Bullying

Today is National Day of Silence, organized by the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN), to draw attention to anti-LGBT bullying and harassment.  In its 14th year, the Day of Silence has become the largest student-led action towards creating safer schools for everyone, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression.  Check out one of their public service announcements below:

Constance McMillen is just one example of discrimination and bullying that is happening to LGBT teens out there today.  Take a moment of silence today to reflect on all the young ones struggling to just being themselves!
