On his former job:
“I was a social worker. I loved it. I prefer this job but it was a brilliant job. I still dream that I do that job sometimes, it’s funny. I wake up and realize, ‘Oh no, I haven’t got to go in to work!’ It was quite good, because social work is quite a female-dominated industry you know, especially in England, and I quite like hanging out with middle-aged women. I’d go out to the pub with them after work, we’d just talk about soap operas, lend each other books, things like that.”
On whether or not he misses his mustache:
“Noooo. Not really. People kept thinking I was 40 or something, I’m 27! I went through a stage where I had the mustache and I wore a hat and I can’t even look at those pictures, I must’ve been going mad! What was I doing? Mustache and a hat? That’s terrible, like Inspector Clusoe or something. My mum hated my mustache and my auntie hated it. I couldn’t do it any more. And to be fair, it was a shit mustache anyway, very thin. Like a twelve-year-old boy.”
On getting down on the dancefloor:
"My favorite place in America is Atlanta, GA. I like the music and the people. There’s a club called MJQ and I like the music there, it’s glam. I like krunk quite a lot and they play that too. It’s funny, the second time we were there I got handed a flyer and it said ‘Eddie Argos’ favorite club’ on it. And I thought, ‘That’s brilliant, it’s mad! How did they know that? I don’t think I told anybody.’ But, it is my favorite. I must’ve really been enjoying myself that first night and they’re like, ‘Oh, he looks very happy, this must be his favorite club!’"
