Word on the Beet

For tees that please the outspoken and environmentally aware, look no further than Black Sheep Heap . I crossed paths with these people selling their wears in Union Square in New York last Saturday morning, and I just love the bold grap hic and statement that expresses what I’m constantly thinking at the grocery store: where are our apples coming from and why are they so dang large?

Tees are printed with water-based inks on 100% recycled or organic cotton, and all Black Sheep Heap packaging is made of 100% post-consumer recycled paper. Other statements tees and totes include ‘Avant Gardner’ and ‘Yes We Can’ (as in canning food!)

The tees are witty, earth-friendly and cheap! (Only $20 each) ~Hannah
