What’s It About? A group of sexually adventurous, fashionable forty-something friends is shaken up when one of them ends up dead.  The murder investigation uncovers more than a killer’s motives—it exposes their secret sex lives and upends their upper-class social circles. It’s an adaptation of Araminta Hall’s bestselling novel of the same name.

Why Should You Binge This?  It’s Sex and the City meets Agatha Christie with a stacked cast led by Kerry Washington, Elizabeth Moss and Kate Mara. The soapiness is amped up thanks to creator Annie Weisman (Desperate Housewives).

Who Would Love This?  Fans of My Favorite Murder; And Just Like That stans still smarting over the end of the series; sex-positive amateur sleuths.

What’s It About? Based on the best-selling mysteries by Patricia Cornwell, Scarpetta stars Nicole Kidman as the titular medical examiner who is drawn back home to investigate a brutal murder that may be the work of a serial killer. Jamie Lee Curtis co-stars as Scarpetta’s sister, whom Scarpetta has a strained relationship with. The show jumps between Scarpetta’s current life and her early career in the 1990s, where Scarpetta is played by young British actor Rosy McEwen.

Why Should You Binge This?  Nicole Kidman plus serial killer themes with a side of Bobby Cannavale is TV gold. Helmed by Showrunner Liz Sarnoff (Barry, Lost) and horror powerhouse Blumhouse Television, the series has a stellar pedigree.

Who Would Love This? Fans of female-driven dark mysteries with A-list casts like Mare of Easttown; readers of Patricia Cornwell, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood lovers.

The cast features a who’s who of quirky talent: Annie Murphy, Brendan Fraser, Sarah Michelle Geller, Elizabeth Hurley, and Josh Gad.

Why Should You Binge This? In a time of domestic upheaval, why not watch a show that demonstrates fighting back can actually work, as long as you’re an ethically dubious bear?

Why Should You Binge This? There’s a reason Euphoria was one of the buzziest dramas when it premiered in 2019. The cast members are out of high school now, but the decisions they’re making aren’t necessarily wiser.  Also, Oscar-nominated Colman Domingo is back in his Emmy-winning role as a drug addict.

Who Would Love This? Zendaya fans (who isn’t?), Frankenstein girlies who are jonesing for more Elordi.

Rounding out the cast is Michelle Pfeiffer as Margo’s mom, who is a former Hooter’s waitress and Nicole Kidman who plays a mediator.

Why Should You Binge This? It’s a captivating story about an unlikely family. Watching a wrestler teach his daughter about the delicate art of being the heel to increase her OnlyFans earnings is something that’s never been on screen before.

What’s It About? The second season of Beef is as juicy as the first. The A24-produced drama has an all-new cast and premise, but it still centers on crumbling marriages. This iteration is set in a country club owned by a billionaire with marital issues. Oscar Isaac plays the general manager of the country club and Carey Mulligan co-stars as his wife. Their strained relationship is complicated by engaged couple Charles Melton and Caile Spaeny, Isaac’s employees who get embroiled in his marital drama.

Why Should You Binge This? If it’s anywhere near as compelling as the first season, which won eight Emmy awards, it’s going to be epic TV.

Why Should You Binge This? The Comeback is one of the funniest shows on HBO. The show, which has a cult following, was ahead of its time in skewering celebrity and reality TV. Like its titular character Valerie Cherish, The Comeback is a perpetual underdog. It was cancelled in 2005, after its first season. In 2014 it was revived, only to be cancelled again within months. Fans have been clamoring for a third season for over a decade.
