3. Forbidden Fruits

Based on the stage play Of the Women Came the Beginning of Sin and Through Her We All Die, this horror comedy follows Apple (Lili Reinhart), a Free Eden mall employee who secretly runs a witch-femme cult after hours. When new hire Pumpkin (Lola Tung) challenges the group’s fragile sisterhood, spells fly, alliances fracture, and femininity turns feral.

Reasons you should BUST out the popcorn: This film channels cult classics like Heathers, Mean Girls, and The Craft. Premiering at SXSW 2026, it boasts a powerhouse production team including Diablo Cody and Mason Novick. Expect sharp laughs, savage satire, and a whole lot of blood–definitely more blood.

4. They Will Kill You

What is it about? A housekeeper (Zazie Beetz) lands a job in a luxury NYC high-rise, only to discover she’s trapped inside a deadly demonic cult run by the ultra-wealthy owners. The game is afoot when the resident cult killers realize she has the skills to defend herself. A classic tale of, is she stuck with them, or are they stuck with her?

5. The Drama

What is it about? This comedy-drama centers on Emma Harwood (Zendaya), a bookstore clerk, and Charlie Thompson (Robert Pattinson), a museum director, as they prepare for their wedding. When an unexpected event derails their wedding week, their relationship faces its first real test.

6. You, Me & Tuscany

What is it about? After losing her house-sitting job, Anna (Halle Bailey) takes a risk and hides out in an empty Italian villa owned by a man she barely knows. When his family discovers her, Anna pretends to be his fiancée, only to fall for his irresistibly charming cousin (Regé-Jean Page).

7. Mother Mary

What is it about? Iconic pop star Mother Mary (Anne Hathaway) reunites with her estranged best friend and former costume designer Sam Anslem (Michaela Coel) on the eve of a major comeback performance. As Sam designs the costumes, unresolved wounds resurface, forcing both women to confront betrayal, fame, and forgiveness.

8. Apex

9. The Devil Wears Prada 2

What is it about? Twenty years after redefining fashion films, Miranda, Andy, Emily, and Nigel return to offer hard-earned wisdom to a new generation. The sequel keeps its plot tightly guarded, but expectations run as high as Miranda’s stilettos.
