Bay Area songwriter and producer Izzy the Gent returns with A&B Sides Volume 3, the newest chapter of his indie-rock project Everything But The Everything on all major streaming platforms. The EP pairs two new wave kissed tracks that spotlight the power of collaboration, an ethos at the heart of Izzy’s work.
“Never Said Goodbye,” featuring San Francisco/Paris based singer-songwriter, Rykarda Parasol (BUST Winter 2024), leans into her shadow-lit vocals and poetic, off-center delivery. Fresh off her acclaimed 2023 album Tuesday Morning, Parasol brings her signature blend of psych-tinged cool and Rock noir, Pop elegance, folding seamlessly into Izzy’s bass driven palette.
On the flip side, “Horse Bit” reunites Izzy with longtime collaborator Sophia Prise, whose ethereal, classically trained vocal work and mood-driven production add an icy glimmering contrast. Prise, an electronic pop artist shaped by vivid audio-lucid dreams and a Conservatory pedigree, pushes the track into hypnotic territory.
As with past releases, A&B Sides Volume 3 reaffirms Everything But The Everything as a collaborative force in Bay Area indie music, giving a platform to distinctive voices while shaping a sound that’s both nostalgic and forward leaning.
