After getting her start in music on TikTok, Odie Leigh shines bright on her first full-length release Carrier Pigeon. Leigh’s take on personal relationships comes across like a breath of fresh air for those suffocating from sappy, clichéd love songs. Musically there’s a perfect balance of rocked-up numbers like “Conversation Starter” and “No Doubt” and more acoustic fare, like “Finer Things” and “Idiom.” Leigh’s singing sounds effortless while making her point with her conversational phrasing and sharp, witty, thought-provoking lyrics. Odie Leigh is off to a great start. Looking forward to seeing what the future brings for this exciting new talent.
