The cutest snack you’ll ever eat can’t be found at some grocery store – that would be too easy. No, BUSTies. If you want to try adorable, Hello Kitty themed confections, you’re going to have to find the Hello Kitty Food Truck. Since debuting at Hello Kitty Con in 2014, the truck and its pink-uniformed staff have been roaming Southern California selling sweet treats like macarons, pinafores, iced cookies, and donuts.

Also, a pink water bottle shaped like a bow.

The truck made its first East Coast appearance last week, spending a day in Times Square parked outside Sanrio’s pop-up shop at 1560 Broadway from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

No, I did not go. And yes, I now have the most severe FOMO. Maybe if we protest, the truck will remain in our fair city for another weekend?

Oh, for the love of all things d’awww. If you’re in California, you’ll actually be able to get these treats year-round once a brick-and-mortar Hello Kitty cafe opens there later this year.
So keep an eye on the truck’s Insta account for tips on its whereabouts and try to get your hands on some of this cuteness. Your inner tween girl will thank you. Your stomach will thank you.
P. S. This past July, Sanrio announced a Hello Kitty movie in 2019, so really: we might as well get on board with the hype.
