8 Witchy Workshops And Spooky Stores To Look Forward To At The BUST Holiday Craftacular 2017

If you’re not ready for Halloween to be over just yet, the BUST Holiday Craftacular is keeping the witchy vibes coming all through the holiday season. At the Craftacular on the 9th and 10th of December, you’ll be able to find handmade art and jewelry that reflect your rebellious soul, as well as participate in workshops to learn more about the powers of meditation, herbs and much more. This list is only a sample of what will be on offer, so keep an eye out for more details on the event.

1. HellHound Jewelry

Laura Nunzi of HellHound Jewelry makes unique pieces for badass babes. With rings, earrings, necklaces and bracelets featuring serpents, moons, roses and skulls, Laura’s aesthetic is classic witchy chic with a contemporary twist. All her jewelry is handmade and hand-detailed from sterling silver or 14k gold vermeil at her workshop in Philadelphia.

2. Bewitched Boneyard

Bewitched Boneyard creates hand-sculpted and magical forest-foraged talismans and dark regalia for the modern witch or wizard. Their pieces incorporate twigs and organic material alongside crystals and metals into an object of wearable art. Bewitched Boneyard takes stylistic inspiration from vintage horror films and the Old West and caters to lovers of nature and the occult.

3. Cotton Candy Machine

Cotton Candy Machine is an art boutique created by Tara McPherson and Sean Leonard located in Brooklyn, NY. Tara has created numerous gig posters for rock bands such as Beck, Modest Mouse, and Mastodon, and creates innocent characters with a dark and mysterious current bubbling under the surface. Cotton Candy Machine will be offering prints, stickers, and pins featuring Tara’s sweetly subversive art alongside the intriguing work of other artists.

4. Vichcraft

Vichcraft is the independent and collaborative studio of Jenna Blazevich. Featuring embroidered patches, prints, pins, buttons, shirts and stickers, Jenna’s work focuses on intersectional feminist products with a bold, magical design. She incorporates pop culture and politics, with slogans like “Girls To The Front” and “Nevertheless She Persisted” emblazoned across her products for you to wear your heart on your sleeve.

5. Incense Making Workshop with Catland

Catland is a boutique and event space in Brooklyn that aims to serve the local community of occultists, yogis, pagans, mystics, Thelemites, witches, chaotes, and anyone interested in the enhancement of their spiritual self. In this workshop, Catland will cover a brief look at the common practical applications of incense burning, how to choose herbs and resins for your blend and the roles of each part of a complete incense recipe. Incense in a staple tool for almost every religion and spiritual practice, so this workshop will be an indispensable tool in any practitioner’s toolbox.

6. Herbs for These Troubled Times: Relax and Recharge Workshop with Nourishing Root

Herbal allies can recharge and relax you through calmatives, nervines, and adaptogens, and in this workshop Emily Cavelier of Nourishing Root will sample a wide range of plants including linden, skullcap, and ashwagandha as well as plants that will help you set and keep healthy boundaries, such hawthorn, and St. John’s wort. 7. Delicious Ways to Improve Your Health and Boost Immunity Workshop with Remedies Herb Shop

NYC-based herbalist JoAnne Richards of Remedies Herb Shop will teach how to discover how to improve your health and boost your immune system with delicious herbs, and nourishing treats in this workshop. Using syrups, elixirs, honey, and vinegar you can learn how to prevent colds and flu, support your adrenal system and develop strategies to quickly recover from seasonal ailments. 

8. Past Life Regression Workshop with Trish Burger

Trish Burger is a quantum healing hypnotherapist. In this workshop, she will be using the Dolores Cannon method of guided regression to help participants see and remember who they were in a past life. You will also have a chance to understand the lessons and purpose of your past life.  This is accomplished during the class by using simple visualization and imagery techniques, along with light hypnosis.
