In case you’ve missed the country music shitstorm that is #SaladGate, radio consultant and super cool dudebro Keith Hill gave some advice to country radio stations: Play fewer of those pesky female artists. Hill told industry publication Country Aircheck, “If you want to make ratings in country radio, take females out… they’re just not the lettuce in our salad… the tomatoes of our salad are the females.”

The “tomatoes” have had a lot to say about that.

Miranda Lambert:

Maggie Rose has a new plan:

“So, in honor of all of you multi-dimensional “tomato lovers,” TOMORROW is my first #TomatoTuesday! I will add a new song on Soundcloud for you to hear. And, I will include a little backstory for each song so that you can get an up-close look at what I have been up to recently. I’ll post a new original song every Tuesday for the rest of the summer … or until I run out of juice.”
