110-Year-Old Woman Claims She’s Lived This Long Because She Drinks Three Beers A Day

by Kathryn Hensch

“Maintain a healthy diet and exercise,” they said, “you’ll live a long and happy life if you do.” Guess what? They were wrong. Okay, maybe not entirely, but 110 year-old Agnes Fenton says that the reason she’s gotten to that age is because she drinks three beers and a shot of whiskey a day.

Long ago, when Agnes was experiencing her only medical issue, a benign tumor, a doctor prescribed her three Miller High Life beers per diem.  She decided to add a daily shot of whiskey (Johnny Walker Blue Label to be exact, because she’s classy as hell).

Agnes, whose vision and hearing are intact, celebrated her b-day on August 1st. “The birthday is just another day,” she said. I guess it can feel that way when you’ve had over a century of them. It is, however, a pretty big deal since only one in every ten million people makes it to 110.

She has little appetite as of recent, which makes alcohol intake a not-so-great idea. When asked if she thought her caregivers would let her have a shot on her birthday, she said, “They better.”

You’re now untouchable when your friends tell you to slow your roll with the Miller High Lifes at the bar. They’re stupid cause you’re gonna live forever, damn it.
