The 6th annual Women In The World Summit was held in New York City this past week, and amidst an extraordinary collection of female speakers and panels, one pint-sized presenter is making a huge impact. 10-year-old Eunice Akoth, a sixth-grader at Kibera Africa’s first all-girls school, delivered a rousing poem about life in Nairobi, Kenya’s largest urban slum. She speaks with impressive gravitas for someone so young, and her passion and desire to share her experience for the good of others is palpable. Watch the video below and help spread the message of schools like Akoth’s that, “if the world can have women leaders, the world can change.”
