As a fashion lover, but also someone who seems to be perpetually late, there is nothing I value more than solid clothing pieces that I can throw on and go, while still looking chic and put together. One of my favorite tricks: the maxi skirt. Maxi skirts are so versatile; they can be great for going out when paired with a crop top and heels/boots, or casual when paired with a tank or button down and sandals. Either way, you’ll look great and feel super comfortable, while (hopefully, in my case) arriving on time.
As summer gives way to fall, maxi skirts are going to be even more essential to my wardrobe. Layer it up with sweaters and scarves for a boho-chic look, or pair one with a long sleeved crop top and motorcycle jacket for an edgier look. No matter what you choose, you’ll be ready to face the falling leaves, and all the cuties that fall down at your feet after they see how great you look. Hey, a girl can dream.
