The folks over at Saturday Night Live must really love BUST Magazine! The host of this weekend's comedy sketch show is none other than yours truly. Sort of. Although the hilarious staff here is not actually hosting SNL, our current cover lady Maya Rudolph is, and the musical guest is (drum roll please) Sleigh Bells! Not only did Sleigh Bells land a spot as our featured review in the Feb/March issue, we've got a brand-spankin' new interview with Alexis Krauss in our upcoming issue.
I haven't been faithfully watching SNL in recent years, but there's no way I'm going to miss this reunion of sorts. Plus, Maya can take any character that sounds bland on paper and make it hysterical. Take a look at Pamela Bell, the melodramatic singer who won a grocery store contest and gets to sing the national anthem:
