FREE TALK: Live Taping Of BUST’s Poptarts Podcast with special guest JANEANE GAROFALO!

 FREE

Poptarts is a podcast hosted by BUST Magazine editors Emily Rems and Callie Watts that celebrates women in pop culture. And for this very special live episode, Emily and Callie will be interviewing comedy legend Janeane Garofalo!

A master of fierce, feminist wit, Janeane Garofalo has been a comedy mainstay since the 1990s and is still making waves today. You may know her from her 25 years doing politically savvy stand-up comedy. You may recognize her from her roles on iconic TV shows including The Ben Stiller Show, The Larry Sanders Show, and Saturday Night Live. Or you may be a fan of her performances in such films as The Truth About Cats and Dogs, Wet Hot American Summer, The Matchmaker, Reality Bites, and Sweethearts. Through every role Garofalo chooses, she telegraphs some truth about women’s lives, and we can’t wait to pick her brain in front of a live audience!

FREE TALK: How to have casual sex, moderated by Sophie St. Thomas

America doesn't just have sex issues; we have intimacy issues to discuss. Such as, who says a casual encounter, or a friends-with-benefits situation, can't also be intimate and romantic? Why are we such jerks to people we want to casually bang? It doesn't have to be like that. We all deserve better. Moderated by Brooklyn Sex Queen Sophie Saint Thomas and featuring panelists Cameron Glover, a sex educator, writer, and podcaster, Daniel Saynt, the founder and Chief Conspirator of NSFW (the sex, cannabis, and wellness club you've read about) and writer and speaker Zachary Zane (Rolling Stone, OUT Magazine, Playboy) we talk about how to have casual sex without being a dick, how to deal with rejection, and most importantly—how to get laid.
