There’s a new feminist accessory in town to help you dismantle the patriarchy: a Guerrilla Girls tote bag that doubles as a mask for all your incognito protesting needs. Created by the famed anonymous group of feminist female artists (in collaboration with Australian design studio Third Drawer Down), the tote pays homage to the Guerrilla Girls’ work illuminating and eliminating racism and sexism in the art world. Since 1984, they’ve used culture-jamming, guerilla-art tactics while wearing gorilla masks to keep their identities secret. The bag ($27.68, thirddrawerdown.com) features the collective’s signature gorilla mask—complete with eyeholes—making it easy to stir up subversion without sacrificing style.
