Later this week, the highly anticipated Fenty Beauty by Rihanna will drop, and we couldn’t be more excited.

The fashion and music icon already dipped her toes into the retail industry when she collaborated with Puma for her own line of footwear and apparel. Now, she’s diving head first into the beauty realm with her own brand of makeup.

Thanks to fan account, rihannabeautydaily, it’s been confirmed that the line will include over 40 shades of foundation for people of color.

You know what that means? A broke brown girl like me can save money because we don’t have to mix foundations to get our true color!

Beauty brands have been working hard to diversify their products by adding a larger spectrum of shades for customers to choose from. But when it comes to women of color, the spectrum falls flat and offers only 3-4 shades of darker complexions.

Fenty Beauty made its mark on the beauty world for women of color with a promotional video just featuring a diverse collection of models that showcase different kinds of beautiful.

In a conversation via Instagram direct message, Rihanna confirms, “You knooowwww it! Gotta represent for my girls and we come in all shades! Especially my brown sisters...been left out too many times in the makeup world.”
