The Mistress of Darkness herself, Elvira has a new clothing line with Pinup Girl that is the ultimate goth girl’s dream. Cassandra Peterson, the actress behind Elvira, made her line, Elvira for Couture for Every Body, because she wanted her clothing line to not only be sexy but to make every body type feel sexy. In an interview with LA Weekly, Elvira said, "I like sexy things and body-conscious stuff, which is why I like Pinup Girl." Pinup Girl carries sizes XS-4XL, which made them the perfect site for the curve-hugging dresses in the collection.
Peterson worked with Laura Byrnes of Pinup Girl to make clothes that not only made the wearer emulate '80s Elvira, but were also wearable and comfortable. According to the Pinup Girl site, Byrnes and Peterson “combined their talents and love of cleavage-flaunting fashion to bring you a clothing collection that is the answer to ALL your vamp needs.”
The clothes are available at Pinup Girl, and Peterson created a line of Elvira-inspired jewelry to match that’s for sale through Sweet Romance.
