SmartGlamour Designs Body-Positive Fashion For Every Woman - At Every Size
What’s so cool about up-and-coming clothing line SmartGlamour? For starters, their styles range from sizes XXS to 6X and beyond. The brand custom-makes each of its pieces in New York City for shoppers of all shapes, sizes, ages, and heights, but still manages to keep prices affordable (every item is under $100, and alterations—from hem and sleeve lengths to an entirely custom-sized garment—cost between $5 and $20 per piece).
Designer Mallorie Carrington, 28, started SmartGlamour to “help women on the road to body acceptance” and assure them that they are “more than enough,” despite the negative media images and advertisements we are all too used to. She creates the kind of clothing basics that women want, but which don’t always exist in the one-size-fits-some world of fashion.
