Tomorrow night (Friday, 12/10) Candy Rain Magazine will be hosting a dance party to benefit the printing of its second issue. Candy Rain is a porn magazine co-created by our very own Callie Watts. The magazine is made by and for women who love dick (FUBU, but sleazier) and features tons of photo spreads of believably-bangable dudes, pics of dicks and interactive activities in the name of sex and humor. Come dance in the name of dick Friday (tomorrow) night in Brooklyn! East River Bar @ 10PM!...

Show and Tell, a new storytelling series based upon the classic kindergarten activity, combines storytelling elements with props to fill in the visual blanks. Founded and hosted by Brooklyn writer (and former BUST staffer) Colleen Kane, the first topic will be a juicy one: sex ed. Once a Playgirl editor, Kane has plenty to say about the unexpected things people find hot, telling Time Out, “My visuals will be mixed media of three varieties, and the audience will begin to understand some of the scars...

"Setting the record straight: Despite my admiration for the pirate of the group, I beg to differ with Keith on the sexual prowess of his lead singer, Sir Mick Jagger. In all ways (including size, thank you) on several occasions I got plenty of Satisfaction. The todger isn't tiny after all, dolls. And you can trust the world's most famous groupie!" - Pamela Des Barres, writer, groupie, 60's-70's scenester, and author of must-read memoir I'm With the Band, on sleeping...

Our offices may be in the city that never sleeps, but BUSTies live and work all over the country. BUST mag’s own sex columnist and resident sexologist at  San Francisco’s Good Vibrations, Dr. Carol Queen is coasts away from the Mothership here in N.Y.C, but she’s about to be a whole lot closer, and we just can’t contain ourselves! Mark your calendars (your sexy calendars!), because October 1st  Tied Up Events is throwing a sex star-studded bash in honor of the release of the 3rd Annual...
When people talk about sex it's usually in a very summer blockbuster sort of way. All ripped t-shirts and things throbbing and pulsating all over the place. It's always "the best I've ever had," or "the hottest I've ever had." What's left out is usually the most intimate parts, the little awkward details like those body fart noises that happen when two sweaty people mush up against each other, and how satisfying/painful the hood of a car can feel when you're slammed on top of...

Rachel Kramer Bussel reads a lot of porn.  Her fingers are in a lot of erotic pies, metaphorically speaking. She’s edited (or co-edited) too many erotic anthologies to count. Okay, I confess.  I counted.  There are thirty, thirty books full of dirty stories she has personally read, or written, and approved for your personal consumption and one-handed enjoyment. The newest additions to her burgeoning list of erotic anthologies are Orgasmic and Fast Girls (Cleis Press). For erotica specifically by women and for women, there were...

If there’s a camera with a steady red light on in your bedroom while you’re having sex, you’re technically shooting a porn.  This is a fact. If you’re boyfriend is holding the camera (even if there is no red light) than this is certainly true. You will probably break up, which is amplified if you’re a “celeb”. This is because more people (including the other famous ones) want to have sex with you than they do with norms, or because you’re...

Is your birth control making you smell "less attractive" to prospective males? That's the question scientists at Duke University are researching in a fairly new study conducted with lemurs as test subjects. In the study, female lemurs were injected with the popular birth control, Depo-Provera, also known as the shot. The female lemurs then allegedly sent out a "different scent molecule" than the control group. Males seemed to shun the injected females, leaving scientists wondering if birth control actually effects the chemical make up of...

Archaeologists made an interesting find last week. While excavating a site in Sweden, they found what appears to be a penis carved out of antler bone. Researchers are still speculating on the actual function of this phallic object, and possible uses include tool or weapon. However, other objects of phallic nature have been found before and this new find may mean evidence of ancient sex toys used by our ancestors. Photo Credit: Peter Zetterlund...

Feeling a little randy this summer? We've got the cure: Summer, Sex, and Spirits! It's a benefit for Planned Parenthood of New York City that will take place July 8th at the Museum of Sex sponsored by BUST Magazine! The event takes its name very seriously, with an all-night open bar and after-hour access to the museum. There will also be performances by DJ Ayres (from The Rub) and Jess Jubilee (from Flashing lights), raffles, a silent auction, and a special VIP package (that includes...
