Ladies and gentlemen alike, this is a call to arms - and by arms, we mean strap-ons. Good Vibrations, the infamous San Francisco based retailer that pride themselves on providing both accurate information on sexuality and adult toys, is encouraging you to strap one on and snap a pic for International Strap-On Week.

International Strap-On Week takes place June 16th- June 22nd and if you’re hanging out in the San Francisco area you should stop in to Good Vibrations for free classes, in store and online promotions, and of course the entertaining #straponselfie social media contest.

Want to know more about this selfie contest? Participants should take a selfie wearing a strap-on harness and share it via twitter or instagram using @goodvibestoys, #straponselfie and #strapweek. The contest will be judged by Lauren Marie Fleming, also known as Queerie Bradshaw from, Jiz Lee, genderqueer porn performer, Sophia St. James, award-winning porn performer and burlesque star, and Q, the porn performer known best for his roles in the Crash Pad series. Prizes include a strap-on and harness and other awesome sex toys for runners up.

Rules for the contest are simple: the pic must have you in it, no children or animals included (understandable). You must be 18 or older for obvious reasons and no nudity.

Bummed that you’re having boring sex without a strap-on? That’s no excuse! Strap-ons aren’t just for lesbian sex and transgendered people anymore (or ever, really). Lots of cisgender dudes can enjoy pegging, aka the stimulation of the prostate via penetration. Cisgender straight strap-on sex can be incredibly enjoyable and intimate for both partners.

More information on the contest can be found on the Good Vibes Blog. Happy Strapping!
