Hailing from Sunny California, the Allah-Las' sound combines British Invasion-style harmonies and pop hooks, trippy West Coast psychedelia, and American garage rock like the bands represented on Lenny Kaye's classic compilation of '60s garage bands, Nuggets.
At their recent NYC show at Webster Hall, the Allah-Las had the crowd on its feet grooving to songs like 'Tell Me What's On Your Mind,' 'Had It All,' and 'Could Be You.' If you want a night out to have some pure, uninterrupted, rock'n'roll fun, then definitely attend an Allah-Las show and you won't be disappointed.
