The 2nd Annual Meadows Music and Arts Festival is fast approaching, with a killer lineup for the weekend. Erykah Badu, Lizzo, Sky Ferreira, M.I.A., Tegan and Sara and tons of other artists are scheduled to perform over the three days in Queens, New York. From September 15th to the 17th, the Meadows will take over Citi Field for their second run. Artists will be playing at the five stages spread throughout the park, with tons of food vendors along the perimeter. They're bringing in street artists to help with the stages. They're also going to have a rosé bar, a beer garden, and water refill stations in case you want to relax for a bit. The festival is open to all ages but some of the after parties have age restrictions so maybe don't try to bring your kids to the Ghostface Killah after party on Friday night. But you could totally make the Meadows into your Family Festival Day.
Tickets for one-day passes or the whole weekend can be found at the Meadows site along with after party info and stage schedules. If you’re in New York this September, it’s definitely something to check out. And if you’ve been in the City for too long, the open space of Citi Field combined with good music is the perfect escape.
