basic bitches

The London-born, New York-based duo Basic Bitches are back with their second-ever EP today, and we are thrilled to premiere the song "Fighter."

The music video is a dose of badass girl power, featuring Basic Bitches lead singer Naomi Scott training, Rocky-style (with a dog!!!), then fighting in an intense boxing match shot by rock photographer Andy Willsher. Naomi's skills are real: she has a brown belt in kickboxing and the video was shot at North London's Springhealth Kickboxing Gym, where she trained for seven years. The other half of Basic Bitches, Josh McCartney, does not appear in the video but his drumming can be heard on the track.
