Indie rock group Lucky Jukebox Brigade is getting ready to release their new EP, Savage Fantastic, and we are thrilled to debut the first track, “Little Fangs.”
Lucky Jukebox Brigade has an amazing origin story: back in 2010, lead singer Deanna DeLuke was couchsurfing around the USA with a backpack and ukulele, posting ads for band members in every town she liked -- and, like every good story, she found out that what she was looking for was there all along, in her hometown of Albany, NY.
After two self-released albums and a national tour, Lucky Jukebox Brigade transformed from an 11 piece band featuring two tubas and a musical saw to a sleeker five-piece that still finds room for saxophone, clarinet, trumpet, euphonium and synth. For Savage Fantastic, out on February 26, 2016, Lucky Jukebox Brigade teamed up with producer Mike Watts, who has worked with bands including As Tall As Lions, The Dear Hunter, Glassjaw and Gates.
"This is the record we've been wanting to make for a long time. We feel like these songs capture who we are, and working with Mike Watts gave us the opportunity to really find ourselves as a band,” says Deanna.
