The internet exploded this am with the news that on Jan. 20, 2015 beloved punk trio Sleater-Kinney will be releasing a new album, entitled No Cities To Love via Sub Pop Records.

The intoxicatingly powerful band is made up of Carrie Brownstein (former BUST cover girl) on guitar and vocals, Corin Tucker also on guitar and vocals, and Janet Weiss on the drums. The band formed in 1994 in Olympia, WA, and put out seven albums before going on a hiatus in 2006.

If you have yet to hear them, or have forgotten what they are made of, I suggest you watch Jumpers, now.

Pre-order the album now, or pre-order a limited-edition box set titled Start Together, which includes all seven albums on vinyl. It will also include a hardcover book of old photographs and art! It is the freakin' coolest!

Watch the video for their new song "Bury Our Friends (feat. Miranda July)," and check below for upcoming tour dates.
