Musicians for Equal Opportunities for Women (MEOW) is celebrating the achievements of women in music with a three-day fiesta in Austin, TX.
Legendary rock goddess Suzi Quatro will be honored with the Woman of Valor Award at MEOW Con's kickoff banquet on Friday; she'll also perform a set, backed by her sister Patti Quatro and Tony Scalzo of Fastball. Austin music writer Margaret Moser will also receive a lifetime achievement award.
Over 100 female artists will perform over the course of the weekend; tons of performers, industry execs, journalists, and authors will speak about their careers in music, too. Check the full lineup of speakers, performers, film screenings, and events here.
Tickets are very limited and are expected to sell out soon! Get 'em here.
Can't afford a ticket? You can gain access to certain events at MEOW Con by volunteering! Fill out this form to get in contact with the good folks at MEOW.
