Okay, so, yeah, I'm totes obsessed with Flight of the Conchords , and always enjoy the songs in their episodes-- those funny, pitch-perfect takeoffs on various music genres. But last night's song-- a mock '60s French pop number, whose lyrics consisted of only those French words that someone who'd studied it in high school would be likely to remember--is so good, I'd gladly listen to it even if it weren't funny. No! The sweat, and the heat, and gnarly funk of hipster B.O., and the epic 45 minute train ride that goes on forever, and the ridiculous mass of people did not keep me away! I went and I saw and I was blown away. It's no surprise that BUST readers know how to get down. Last night's issue release party at Union Pool in Brooklyn was a smashing success full of fresh beats, sick jams, and lots o' BUSTy love.
