It seems to be that we're being bombarded by trailers lately. First it was The Great Gatsby courtesy of Baz Luhrman, and now it's Tom Hooper's Les Misérables. The film stars Hugh Jackman and Anne Hathaway, and leads me to wonder exactly how much flack Anne will catch for this one.

People have been kind of down on Anne ever since she hosted the Academy Awards with James Franco. Then it was her casting as Catwoman that had fanboys freaking out over the integrity of The Dark Knight Rises. Now, it seems that diehard Les Mis fans will probably have something to say too, as Anne is all up in their movie.

The new trailer promises a lot of the upcoming film. Hugh Jackman has a huge beard, Anne is singing and shaving her head, and a lot of people are looking up at things throughout it. You know a movie is good when a lot of people look up at things.

More importantly, Anne is singing in the trailer, and I'm sure fans are biting their nails over this one. Will she be good enough to carry the tune of the classic? Only time will tell. In the mean time, check out the trailer (and Hugh Jackman's crazy grizzly man beard).
