Our current cover lady, the magical, hippie-dippie, wise-beyond-her-years Shailene Woodley is also starring as ass-kicking heroine Beatrice (Tris) Prior in the upcoming Divergent.
The movie looks awesome. Set in a future dystopia--reminiscent of the middle school favorite The Giver and ever popular, ever awesome The Hunger Games--Divergent takes place in a society divided into 5 factions defined by virtues. At the age of 16, teenagers must decide whether to stay in their faction, or transfer. Beatrice, renamed Tris, learns she is Divergent and does not fit into any sole faction, which is where the movie gets interesting, and ass-kicking.
Movie awesomeness aside, we are also pumped for the soundtrack--which includes a range of jams from Ellie Goulding to Pretty Lights to A$AP Rocky. It drops March 11th, but you can mosey on over to iTunes to pre-order the album now.
BUT WAIT! A GIVEAWAY!
To celebrate the new flick and the new tunes, we're giving away TEN copies of the Divergent soundtrack. For your chance to win, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your full name and mailing address. How easy is that? Ten lucky folks will be chosen at random to win a CD.
The contest is now closed. Congrats to our winners:
