Last week as the staff was breaking down computers at BUST HQ, we were all unsure as to how this whole “Working From Home” thing would turn out. Our staff and interns are now scattered between New York, Connecticut, Massachuetts, New Jersey, and California. We were initially anticipating that #WFH2020 would only be a few weeks, but as announced by Trump, this might stretch to the summer. So, we asked BUST readers for tips on how to effectively work from home and here’s what they said:
Please check on this parent. Clearly they need a break:

This person is onto something:
“Healthy snacks - it’s so easy to go off script with food but allow for one good delivery. Comfy clothes. Change rooms on occasion. Avoid Amazon ?” -artemisd79
This person is smart and has good taste:
Get up, shower, and get dressed like you’re going to the office... side note, that Tina Fey issue was the first copy of Bust I ever bought! ?? -totalblamblam
A yogi had a suggestion:
I work from home running my sweater line - I wake up early and do 20 mins of yoga each morning - makes me the most productive at home. -bastian_kntwr
This person reminding us to have patience:
Be patience and allow time for troubleshooting. Know that a lot of people are going through a similar transition and we’re forgiving of errors and delays. -theunolady
These folks want us to get moving:
Get up and walk every 20 to 30 minutes. I work remote full time and always forget to do this. -isarabunny
