Want to have fun and get your body moving while wearing a free pair of Nike shoes? You’ll get all of this and more at this year’s BUST Craftacular—N.Y.C.’s longest-running indie craft fair—December 7th and 8th from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Industry City (Factory Floor, 268 36th St., Brooklyn, NY 11232). Alongside more than 150 women-owned vendors, this two-day Brooklyn shopping party is offering more than 60 classes and workshops, including a cool beginners running class on Sunday!
Taught by Nike Run Club Coach Jes Woods, this class (limited to 20) is designed as a beginners guide to running, where you will learn basic movements that you can incorporate into your daily routine, advice on running techniques, and ways to stay motivated to make moving a daily habit.
Woods is an RRCA-certified running expert and has coached first-time runners, influencers, ultra marathons, and high profile athletes like Cynthia Erivo to her first Half Marathon (and everything in between). Learning how to start running can be really intimidating, but Woods makes it fun and accessible for many! Make sure to come dressed in your most comfortable apparel because, at the end of class, you’ll be able to put what you learned to the test with a quick 1-mile group walk/jog/run.
Most importantly, did I mention that you’ll get a complimentary pair of Nike sneakers when you buy a ticket for this class? At only $15, this Nike-sponsored class is filling up quickly, so grab your ticket at craftacular.bust.com and come get active with us!
UPDATE: THIS CLASS IS SOLD OUT!
The first 100 shoppers on each day will receive a goodie bag! Doors open at 11!
