On May 12, 2018, the BUST School for Creative Living returns with the BUST Craftacular at Industry City in Brooklyn, NY. In addition to the dozens of vendors that will be selling their own creations, the school will be featuring over 50 classes taught by local arts and businesses to inspire you and get your creative juices flowing! Whether you're a beginner or an Etsy-selling expert, you'll have the opportunity to practice crafts all day with incredible teachers and leave with tangible items that you can be proud of.
Don't be afraid of getting a little messy (it's honestly half the fun). You'll have an opportunity to paint and printmake with the experts, creating unique pieces during the watercolor exploration and monoprinting classes, and personal prints that you can use over and over again with Private Picassos' classes DIY printmaking and relief workshop.
Wear your art on your sleeve with kaleidoscope dyed or marble painted threads and hang with Brooklyn Charm to learn how to make wire wrapped jewelry and charm necklaces and bracelets.
If you're a fan of needlework, you can explore hand-embroidery, macrame, and stitching to create wall hangings and embroidered patches, or to finally fix those jeans that have been sitting in your drawer for forever.
Tell your friends all about your new skills with a beautifully written hand-lettered note in a DIY pop-up card, going the extra mile with a personal handmade clay nameplate.
It's impossible to come to the BUST Craftacular without being inspired. Embrace that creative itch and sign up for tickets today!
