Bring your old clothes to the London Craftacular... and recycle them into rosettes - BUST

Indulge your craft addiction in the DIY Den at York Hall this Saturday! Alongside the yarn-based action (from those wool-crazy Prick Your Finger girls and Knit & Destroy’s Kandy Diamond), you'll find a rather nifty drop-in rosette-making workshop hosted by Barley Massey, queen of green crafting and owner of the heavenly Fabrications store in nearby London Fields.

Combining a mix of recycled fabrics, ribbons, buttons, sequins and anything else you choose to bring along, you'll be shown how to “rethink your rubbish” into a natty one-off accessory. It's free to take part and even little hands are welcome (although they may need to be accompanied by the owner of a bigger pair). Everyone's A Winner! Chloe Burrows
