I love Elsa Schiaparelli. She rocked the fashion world in the '20's with her knit "iconic bow" sweater, which went straight to the pages of Vogue.
This is one of my all time fav designs of her's:
Oh the classic face/vase. I would rock that jacket so hard. Sort of crazy old lady and sort of WTF. Love it.
This is a piece she did with Dahli, The famous Lobster Dress
She was also one of the first designers to market a perfume, "Shocking" which came in a bottle modeled after Mae West's torso. The perfume came in a bright pink box, which in turn lead to people calling the hue "shocking pink", a color she would go on embrace. Fitting that Lily Allen wears something from the new collection with "shocking pink" hair. I wonder if she is in the know? Would anyone but me and Lily rock these looks?
