I know it's not '80s Welsh rocker Bonnie Tyler 's birthday for another few days (June 8th to be exact), but when I saw this amazing lampoon of the video for her most righteous karaoke jam 'Total Eclipse of the Heart,' I just couldn't wait to share it in her honor! Big ups to my pal Jen for bringing this gem to my attention. I think she was right when she declared it 'The funniest thing ever on YouTube.'

Best known as managing editor of BUST magazine, Emily is also a music and film commentator for New York’s NPR affiliate WNYC, and is the drummer for the horror-punk band the Grasshoppers. Her nonfiction writing has appeared in the anthologies Cassette from my Ex and Zinester’s Guide to NYC, and her short stories have been published in Rum Punch Press, Lumen, Prose ‘N Cons Mystery Magazine, Writing Raw, and PoemMemoirStory.
