For three consecutive Mondays starting June 15th, WET Productions is bringing you their INKubator Summer Series. WET Productions is a non profit organization that produces feminist film, theater, television, events and education that challenges female stereotypes and advocates for equality. Their INKubator program focuses on getting plays written by women into production. See them in action in this free series open to the public at their theater on 441

This year, readings will be performed by readings by Guggenheim Fellow and Obie Award Winner Melissa James Gibson, three time Emmy Award Nominee Cusi Cram and Princess Grace Award Winner, and Six Feet Under alum, Kate Robin. Each reading will have a star-studded cast. Past performers have included Amy Sedaris, Deborah Messing, Paul Rudd and Billy Cruddup. Stick around after the show for an extra treat of seeing the musical improve duo, I Eat Pandas.


The fun begins on June 15th with 'Current Nobody,' a play loosely based off The Odyssey.'Dusty and the Big Bad World,' a comedy about censorship and gay rights, is playing on June 22nd. The series concludes on June 29th with 'Swimming in March,' about a recently deployed soldier from Afghanistan.
