It's about time that someone redefined the phrase #LikeAGirl. For years, pad/tampon manufacturer Always has inspired little girls and young women to redefine what it means to play sports like a girl—strong, tough, courageous, and perserverant. Now, the brand has come out with a new, Olympics-themed bout of inspiration. If you have 30 seconds to spare (and if you don't, I'm judging you so hard), please watch this wonderful video full of amazing young athletes telling other amazing young athletes to never give up.
"If you can learn to be tough and learn to meet these challenges and make female friendships, then you can do anything," says Nanett Burstein, the director of Always' #LikeAGirl campaign, in a video shared on Facebook.
Always has also commissioned soccer player Alex Morgan as its brand ambassador, and we got to see some of Morgan's sweet backstory with the sport, even learning that a poorly managed team cut her, telling her she wasn't good enough (clearly their loss).
