Within a few days, Anitai's post went viral along with her advice to "stop telling women what to wear," and "wear what you love, what makes you feel confident." It wasn't long before #RockTheCrop became a trending hashtag. Women across the globe took to their personal accounts to show off how fabulous they look in cropped pieces (even without a flat stomach).

2) Sofistafunk's Arlinda McIntosh's classy look

3) Blogger Brittany Sherman's vintage look

The hashtag has been quite successful, and O issued this statement in apology, "We support, encourage and empower all women to look great, feel confident and live their best lives - in this case, we could have expressed it better. We appreciate the feedback and will be more mindful going forward."

Let's keep it up, ladies and continue to end body shaming for good! Self-confidence is power.
