Cryptacize hails from Oakland, CA (fans of Deerhoof will recognize guitarist Chris Cohen) and I've been jamming out to their new record, Mythomania, since it came out a couple weeks ago. Its melodies are addictive (like Nedelle Torrisi's vocals) and moments of endearing twee and weirdness shine through the slow-synth jams and catchy, rockin'-pop hooks.
