Cats on Instagram thebusrailhan

Everyone knows that the internet loves cats — and that's exactly as it should be. A new photo book, Cats on Instagram — by the popular Instagram account of the same name — brings our love of cats offline, too. The book includes over 400 original photos of adorable cats making silly faces, wearing costumes, and squishing themselves into places you wouldn't think they could fit.

"We wanted to negate the stereotype that cat lovers are chiefly elderly women," Cats of Instagram creators Eli Omidi and Kady Lone write in the introduction. "Cat lovers come in all shapes, cultures and age ranges, and we wanted to make sure that was visible to the world. Thus, the #catsofinstagram hashtag was born."
