Terrariums are great for those folks who weren't born with a green thumb. At the risk of sounding like an infomercial, you seriously just set it and forget it. (Okay, so it's more like you mist it and forget it, but you get the point.) Twig Terrariums is a "verdant venture" between two friends, Michelle Inciarrano and Katy Maslow. Their shop in Gowanus, Brooklyn boasts a variety of terrariums (moss, plant, succulent, and air plant), DIY kits, gardening swag, and gifts. They specialize in customized orders ranging from nice to naughty, and they have been a favorite addition to the Craftacular line-up for years. Twig's cheeky figurines include zombies, BOOBS (tiny flasher pictured above-- so perfect for trolling your co-workers), and tiny haz-mat crews!
You can come on down and get your hands on one of these fab green finds at the BUST Magazine Craftacular on May 4th. If you're outside of New York or just have to have one of these things now, you can buy 'em at Twig Terrarium's website.
But WAIT! There's more! Twig Terrariums will be hosting a terrarium-making workshop at the Craftacular! For a limited group of 40 participants, the team will teach you how to craft your very own terrarium. Cost of materials is $16.50.
