Last Friday, Tracie Howarth, of Brooklyn Charm, generously invited the BUST staff to treat themselves at her new shop in Williamsburg. We had a blast!  Everyone managed to find some really cool pieces. Tracie and her staff are the best! They helped us take the various beads, charms, doodads, and whatsits that we picked out and make awesome jewelry.

Every customer that came in the door was so excited to be there, we couldn't help but have fun. One woman said, "I live right around the corner and I come here all the time. I bring all my friends!"

Tracie says she likes the welcoming atmosphere. She doesn't want Brooklyn Charm to be a posh bead store, just a place where people (master crafters and novices alike) can come to make jewelry they really love. Of course, with her amazing selection of unique and vintage materials, it'll be difficult to keep out the more hard-core clientele.
