Since 2009, the fearless females of Shameless Photography have been working to spin up your idea of pinup by promoting people of every size, shape, and background. No longer is pinup strictly reserved for white girls with big boobs named Betty. Their mission is "to help you to feel more empowered and embodied — and to see femininity as a space of play and possibility rather than shame.” It’s February, and with all this love going around, we’re right there with Shameless, encouraging you to love yourself first. Flaming Mermaid, Broken Star by Maxine Nienow: This was a shoot to honor both a friendship and an aerial dance & comedy duo Flaming Mermaid, Broken Star: made up of two incredible women, Erin Clark and Laura Von Hottie.

Damien Luxe by Sophie Spinelle: Damien is a dear friend of Shameless and one of the people who inspired me and encouraged me to start the business.
Bryn Kelly by Sophie Spinelle: Bryn, who passed away earlier this month, was a frequent Shameless hairstylist and collaborator, as well as a dear friend of the staff. She was also an incredible writer and performer. You can read more about her here
Dazey LaRue by Carey Lynne and Sophie Spinelle. This beauty is a burlesque dancer and retro fashion designer who won a free shoot at the 5th anniversary celebration of Shameless photography.
Julie by Maxine Nienow: A client who was diagnosed with Alopecia Areata as a child and has experienced increasingly significant hair loss over the past few years. She did part of the shoot with a wig and part of it without (as shown in this photo).
