We are so excited to be back for our annual BUST Craftacular Holiday event, and this year we are proud to introduce the BUST School For Creative Living, alongside a two-day music festival featuring badass female-fronted bands. The event will not only host over 150 of the best artisans of homemade goods, but it will also include over 50 DIY demos, workshops, and lectures from stand out speakers such as Lindy West and Amber Tamblyn.
The BUST School for Creative Living will feature over 50 different DIY demos and workshops run by local business owners and entrepreneurs. Guests will have an opportunity to get a hands-on look at some of the amazing classes regularly available across the 5 boroughs at a fraction of the price.

Sunflower Bean's Julia Cumming will be hosting their next edition of Anger Can Be Power during the event.
In addition to our amazing vendors and exciting workshops, the event will also feature talks from your fave feminist luminaries!
On Saturday, we’ll have author and #ShoutYourAbortion co-founder Lindy West and SYA's Founding Director Amelia Bonow joining artist and activist Poppy Liu for a conversation about the revolutionary power of storytelling.
On Sunday, we’ll have Amber Tamblyn hosting a panel on WOMEN & POWER – Fighting Patriarchal Narratives & Being Allies to Each Other in the Era of Trump

Kristen Sollee — author of Witches, Sluts, Feminists: Conjuring The Sex Positive — will trace the history of “witch feminism” from Early Modern Europe to the present, with an eye specifically on female sexuality.

In addition, attendees can also expect all of the classic fan favorites of the BUST Holiday Craftacular. Stand-out makers, including Jenna Blazevich of Vichcraft Design Studio, Katie Ferris of Kt Ferris Creations and Tara Mcpherson of the Cotton Candy Machine, will fill the space with a variety of handmade goods, alongside an eclectic variety of carefully selected makers and shakers. And when hunger strikes, guests can enjoy a variety of food and drinks including beer and wine, vegetarian options by Monk’s Meats, classic sandwiches from STUF’d Truck, and sweets by Sam’s Fried Ice Cream. This year’s BUST Holiday Craftacular is the perfect way to come together as a community this holiday season.

Janeth Ann Gonda is currently the events and promotions manager at BUST Magazine, a singer, dancer, writer, and event planner living in Brooklyn, NY. She is currently the lead singer in the Gypsy Witch Rock Band Espejismo. After working in the Brooklyn music industry for several years she created her own event space Barranquilla Studios. Janeth has hosted hundreds of bands and fans alike and is an active member in the NYC music community.
