WomensMediaCenter.com has put together a video to commemorate the ladies responsible for the best cinematic moments of 2009. Celebrating the women whom without these moments would not be possible, the video highlights accomplishments of Oscar hopefuls such as Kathryn Bigelow, Meryl Streep, Mo’Nique, Maggie Gyllenhaal and all other female nominees.
As pointed out on the Women’s Media Center’s website, Kathryn Bigelow is better positioned than any other woman in history to win the Award for Best Director at this year’s ceremony on March 7th; accomplishing this would make her the first female to do so!
