Itching for some nostalgia drenched lyrics and sun bleached tunes? Luckily, America’s favorite manic pixie dream girl Zooey Deschanel and guitarist M. Ward have made another album as She & Him. Volume 3, which will be released on May 7th, is sure to feature the vintage pop style that She & Him do best, layering Deschanel’s sweet vocals over Ward’s masterful melodies. The album’s first single dropped today on Youtube and iTunes. “Never Wanted Your Love,” is a classic She & Him anti-love song; the lyrics are woeful and bluesy, but the sound is charming and sunny. All in all, this single promises another great album for indie lovers, ukulele fans, and Deschanel diehards alike.
