Beyoncé posted a new video on her Tumblr dedicated to her tour photographer, Yosra El-Essawy, who was recently diagnosed with cancer. Raised in London, Yosra moved to New York in 2006 and ended up as one of Beyoncé’s photographers on her 2013 Mrs. Carter World Tour.
Starting off as a casual bystander who was the only one with a camera at a friend’s wedding, Yosra has traveled all over the world photographing people and creating art. The video shows Yosra’s journey from wedding photography to the experience of touring with Beyoncé, only to have to leave the tour early after being diagnosed with cancer.
