Indonesia Disappoints Little Monsters

by Ivanna Avalos

Lady Gaga is known for her preposterous outfits (both on and off stage), her risqué dance moves, and her support of the LGBT community. Now the pop star will be known for being the first foreign artist to be denied a concert permit by the Indonesian authorities.

According to the Jakarta Post, authorities cancelled Lady Gaga’s June 3rd concert because various groups were afraid that the singer’s sessy dance moves and nearly nonexistent outfits would corrupt young concertgoers. Gaga was set to perform a sold-out show at Jakarta’s Bung Karno Main Stadium, which holds 52,000, as part of her “Born This Way Ball” world tour.

So now there’ll be 52,000 disappointed little monsters who won’t get the chance to see mother monster perform live. BUST readers, have you ever seen her in concert? Did you feel corrupted, or did you make it out unscathed?
