Hump Day Home Stretch, Part 1: Something Old

by Intern Brittany J.

No Doubt and I go way back. As in, Tragic Kingdom could very well be my favorite album ever (yep, I almost said it…it’s that serious), and it’s the oldest CD I own. I think I asked for it for Christmas or something when I was in 5th grade. It got scratched all to hell and only finally stopped working and started skipping about 2ish years ago. As in, the first song I ever sang at a talent show was Suspension Without Suspense from Return of Saturn. As in, when we were asked to dress up as a “character” for three days of my 11th grade English class, I was Gwen and I didn’t have to go out and buy ANYTHING. As in, anyone from my high school will tell you that when they thought of either myself or Gwen Stefani, they thought of the other. Yeah. Lame? Awesome? Who cares.

That being said, this song pumps me up almost more than no other. I hope it does the same for you and helps you power through the rest of the week.

PS. Blogger not responsible for trouble caused by jumping, dancing, even skanking, and of course belting at the top of your lungs.
